Justin Jacka

Director, Principal Clinical Research Consultant

B. Med. Sci (Hons), M.Mgmt.

The foundation of Justin’s career is his belief that every clinical trial is ultimately about people: our patients, their families, and our teams working together to create better health outcomes.

With extensive experience in clinical research across the pharmaceutical, CRO, and biotech industries, Justin brings a strategic and practical approach to every project. He has successfully led trials across a wide range of therapeutic areas, including oncology, cardiovascular, hematology, neurology, ophthalmology, and infectious diseases. He has worked on all phases of clinical trials throughout the APAC region (including FIH), guiding sponsors through complex regulatory, operational and scientific landscapes.

Justin has taken Country Head secondments in South Africa and Singapore, and in 2024 was honoured to be named a finalist for the PharmaTimes International Clinical Researcher of the Year (Project Management). He has also driven transformative change in clinical operations, managing large-scale outsourcing initiatives while maintaining a consistent focus on quality and human impact.

Justin is a compassionate leader who brings empathy, integrity and a focus on delivering measurable results to an increasingly complex, compliance-driven healthcare environment.

Outside of work, Justin is a husband and father to three teenagers, which certainly keeps him on his toes. His love for his family fuels his passion for patient-centred research, as he knows, both personally and professionally, the impact his work and leadership have on his team and the patients he supports.
